While his younger brother, Sparrow, Hafod's premier travelling poet, lives a boundless life with ever-changing horizons, Heron has dedicated himself as keeper of his family's spectral shop.

Despite his advancing years, Heron remains as youthful and spirited as ever, his light-hearted demeanor and mischievous sense of humor endearing him to all who cross his path. His scatterbrained nature and slow pace may sometimes lead others to underestimate him, but beneath his eccentric exterior lies a keen intellect and a passionate curiosity. Every creaking floorboard and flickering candle holds the promise of adventure, a chance to unravel the mysteries of the unseen. 

As Gym Leader of Llais Hen Gym, Heron's battles are a reflection of this lifelong obsession. With a mischievous glint in his eye and a playful grin, he challenges trainers to confront their fears. In battles, mirroring the ghost Pokemon he is so fascinated by, he waits for the perfect moment to unleash Hex, amplifying its power by exploiting the status conditions of his opponents.
