Anadl Castle is a ruined castle found along Route 7. It is a quiet, overgrown spot, known only to locals and historians. There are patches of tall grass, worn areas of stone and a graveyard.
Entering the graveyard area, there are ancient, moss-covered stones and statues standing in the sun. The player approaches a particularly old-looking statue of a small Pokémon standing dutifully to attention. Upon interacting with the statue, it cracks and transforms into a living, breathing Pokémon, the mythical Pokémon Obitten, panting enthusiastically. It can then be battled and caught.
Upon catching Obitten, the player is approached by an old bearded man named Sparrow. He is a poet, interested in the myths and legends of Hafod. He explains the legend of Obitten. There are many more legends in Hafod, he says, and these legends have the power to unlock the ancestral potential of some Pokémon. He promises he will meet the player again and walks away.
"The quiet, crumbling ruins of a small fort."
