Coda Island Village is a settlement renowned for its serene atmosphere. Nestled within an area of outstanding natural beauty, the village serves as a retreat for experienced trainers preparing for the Elite Four. It has a Pokémon centre, a Pokémart and several stalls selling items that assist trainers hoping to make a name for themselves.
As the player goes to leave the village towards Route 15 for the first time, Ume appears and calls to them. She heard that the player and Dylan were taking on the Pokémon league and came as soon as she could. She had to wish them luck and give them some treats for their Pokémon.
Thanking them again for all of their help, she looks at the player fondly and tells them they make her proud to live here in Hafod. Turning to leave, she hesitates, then jerks as if she's just remembered something. She excitedly tells the player to look out for her daughter, Ren, the dark type specialist, she's a tricky one!
"The doorway to glory!"
