Victory Embankment is a stark and imposing stone path that rises above the waves, leading trainers toward from Route 15 to their ultimate challenge. With nothing on the horizon except for the distant Pokémon League Island, this track serves as a final, dramatic approach to the pinnacle of competition.
Rising up from Route 15, the player steps onto the Victory Embankment and walks towards the rising silhouette of the Pokémon League building. At the end of the embankment, Dylan is waiting for his final battle.
It is a rare moment of seriousness and solemness from Dylan. He says that the player has always felt like home to him. He tells the player that they are a true friend and that he is so grateful that they went on this adventure together. They battle.
Once defeated, Dylan seems slightly disappointed. He really thought he could beat the player. But he picks himself up and says he’s inspired to train harder and keep looking for more ancestral forms of Pokémon. He tells the player to go for it, that he can think of no better new champion for Hafod than them. They hug and Dylan waves goodbye as he leaves.
"A stark and imposing stone path that rises above the waves."
