Llais Hen is a quaint, bookish town nestled in the countryside, known for its charming character. The streets are lined by various bookshops and tearooms. The town features a herbalist shop and the Pokémon Mansion as well as a Pokémart, Pokémon centre and the fifth Pokémon gym.
Arriving in town, the player reunites with Daphne and Dylan and is approached by Toby and her assistant, Steren. Toby, relieved to see them again, thanks them for their efforts at the dam, acknowledging that Team Wild is far more dangerous than she initially thought. She assures them that she now has a team monitoring Team Wild’s movements to prevent further destruction.
Toby thanks them again and goes to leave when Steren reminds her that she's forgotten something. Steren rummages in her bag and pulls out three uncannily smooth Pokémon eggs. Toby explains that they were prototypes for a new toy Hafod Innovation was manufacturing but that they seem to be actual Pokémon in their own right. She hopes they can aid them in their journeys. Steren and Toby wave goodbye. Daphne heads off to explore bookshops for research, while Dylan returns to Route 9 to prepare for his next gym challenge.

Read about the battle for the Ode badge with Gym Leader Heron here.
After the battle, Heron leads the player to his private quarters with a shelf of books about Hafod’s mythology. He carefully picks up an ancient-looking, red book and gives it to the player, explaining his brother Sparrow gave it to him for safe-keeping and that it details Hafod’s oldest myths, even the creation of the region. Its been passed down through the ages and now it’s the player's turn to learn from it.
Heron also gives the player the Scroll of Mystery, the scroll that unlocks Grotrogl’s ancestral form.
