"A gruelling climb with wonderful views of Cerddinas city."
After encountering Solfima on Yr Awen Summit and Solvitus on Y Craffter Summit, the player and Daphne attempt to phone Dylan who is already journeying up Y Bywyn. Unable to reach him, the player journeys back to Cerddinas City and enters Y Bywyn Regional Park.
Inside the park, they find Petros has set up a campsite and is sitting beside a campfire with Ume. The two are happy to see the player and invite them to sit with them. Ume explains she was telling Petros about the Great Marsh in the Sinnoh Region, where she was born. She talks about the muddy terrain and the train that runs through it, how they should build a trainline up Y Bywyn too.
The player asks the two if they’ve seen Dylan and they say they had but it had been quite a while now. They tell the player they’d better go up the mountain and see if Dylan is alright. Before they leave, Petros warns them about herds of Muddlug, they hide in the mud and attack.
Climbing the mountain, the player arrives at a boggy area and, from the other side, they hear a shout. It’s Dylan. He waves excitedly to the player and shouts that he has dropped his phone somewhere in the mud. He asks the player to search around for it. The player enters the bog and, somewhere near the centre, finds the phone. Dylan shouts with excitement. Suddenly, all around the player, patches of spikes appear from beneath the Mud. Muddlug! The player must then navigate the sticky mud while avoiding the Muddlug, a difficult task. But, they manage it and reunite with Dylan and move ahead to the summit.
Japanese: バチ山の原野 Mount Bachi Wilderness, bachi meaning drumstick or mallet
